There was a time when iPhone App Reviews.net was all about reviews… and then it went through a period where it basically became nothing but a free-for-all code giveaway. In some ways that was cool because people like free codes, but it was only cool for Americans because as of right now they’re the only ones who can use them! I don’t know when or if Apple will stop requiring a U.S. iTunes account for redeeming promo codes, but I really hope that day comes soon.

So anyway, the codes kind of took the place of app reviews and that wasn’t really what IAR was all about, so I spun off the codes to this site, iPhone Promo Codes.net. See what I did there? I took my very obvious, very uncreative, and very easy to remember “.net” name and applied it to promo codes instead of reviews. Ha… take THAT, .com domain name squatters!

*Ahem* so yeah, that’s how iPhone Promo Codes.net was born. If you have a U.S. iTunes account I hope you can get lots of free apps through this site (and please please leave comments when you do!), but if you can’t use the codes then I hope you’ll go and hang out at iPhone App Reviews.net.
